Chinagin

Have you ever wondered what your family gets up to after you've gone to bed? Well here is a clip of Heath and the girls on night after I hit the hay early. See if you can figure out which on of the girls it is....

sillies with sister

Just a little snipid of Samantha and Eden playing. Often I see this as the girls are always trying to make Eden laugh or should I say squeal.
Enjoy

Bring out the decorations.....

Deck the halls, with boughs of holly........ that is not exactly what we did this Saturday night but rather flock the tree with millions of decorations. All the girls had turns putting their all time favorite decorations on the tree, as well as some new ones too. Each of the sisters had a turn showing Eden how the whole process worked. The outcome a beautiful, festive, glowing Christmas tree we all can enjoy.

Santa Baby

Christmas is coming, and what else does one with a little one do, but go see Santa. Here is how our Santa visit happened... Alyssa was on the way to the bookstore when she ended up sidetracked. She was a little curious how Eden would react to Santa, so she pulled her out of her buggy and showed Eden Santa. Cover your ears because the baby squeals were being sung! Heath and I decided to try a picture with the famous man, it was only seconds after putting Eden on his lap that she pulled the frightened baby act. Thank goodness the photographer snap the photo quickly, otherwise it might have been nothing but a wide open mouth and streaming tears.
I think that the photo is perfect just the way it is, she may not be smiling but it's a cute photo.

Look at me now!

Hi everybody, look at me sitting up all by myself! It's great, because I can sit in my little rocking chair and read all my favorite books before mommy puts me to bed. Enjoy and snuggles from me to you....

New adventures....

So we fixed up our canoe and got it on the water. Heath spent some time cleaning it up and then we gave it a coat of paint. We all look forward to spending some time paddling around the local lakes.

Hi everybody....I'm four months old now.....Look how my sisters made me pose while camping. You would never know this picture was taken in a tent! I loved camping!!!

Oh how much do I enjoy finally having a bath in a real bath tub! While camping mommy did her best to give me a bath in everything from a laundry sink to just sponge bathing, but I'm a real girl at heart I LOVE my baths!

Road trip 2007.....

Our road trip begins! Enjoying a lovely lunch just outside of Cache Creek. Heath did a wonderful job finding us a picturesque place for lunch. Too bad you couldn't experience our Blog in smell-a-vison...because it wasn't too long after setting up for luch we discovered we were dining beside a dead deer, not to mention an ants nest!!! HA HA HA a perfect picnic...
After lunch we pushed ahead for Barkerville.....pulling rather late but very excited to spend the day in the old city.

A little candy from the Gerneral Store...

A little thunder and lightening never hurt anyone....did it?

Gold panning in Barkerville....Striking it rich.

Our new friend the prospector helping the girls find their shiny gold....."best smile for me to keep helping you little lady, or else I'm going for a coffee break"!

A day with friends....

After two nights of thunder, lightening and leaky tents a quick visit to Prince George was well received. We visited our good friends Matt, Jasmine and Jennifer, who just happened to be well into her 9th month... baby anyday! A special thanks for the warm bed and yummy dinner.

A warm hug between friends...

Mount Robson........to Jasper......and beyond....

Mount Robson, after spending a couple crumby nights sleeping in the rain, we were overjoyed to arrive at Mount Robson and see blue skys. We decide to use Lucerne Lake campground as a base camp, so we could then take a couple day trips into Jasper. Beautiful campsite, however the mosquitos where a pain in everyones butt.

White water rafting anyone????

Once in Jasper National Park we were treated to many amazing sites...
From Elk grazing, mountain goats and sheep meandering along the road, to icefields, giant mountains, and raging waters....
Such a wonderful time showing the girls the beauty of our country!

Athabaska Falls, a 23 metre long waterfall.....white water rafting anyone? I don't think so.

Columbia Ice Fields....

Picture perfect...

What a great sheet of ice....just imagine ice skating. Thalia climbed on the field with her Daddy, and saw the prettiest light blue cravases....

Brrrr it sure it cold! Does anyone have a hot chocolate??
